One of the best websites for hip-hop is definitely The Full Clip. The writing is excellent, the posts short and sweet and the music is always good.

The other thing is that he posts mixtapes and links to download them. I always used to hear about amazing mixtapes but since I’m nowhere near New York, I’ve never had access to them.

Now I can’t get enough.

Tape Op is a free print magazine and website dedicated to the music production arts. Just register, fill out some info and you should get yours in the mail. I guess the paid subscriptions are more reliable and likely to actually arrive in your mailbox but for free it’s worth a try right?
